Obituary for Norman Andrew Collignon

Norman Andrew  Collignon
Passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Friday June 16, 2017 at the age of 84 years,
Norman Andrew Collignon of Winnipeg, MB.

Norman and his wife Yvonne (predeceased) were married in 1955 and resided in Fort Garry where they raised their two sons, David and Donald. Norman worked for Hilton Insulation and Supply for many years before opening his own business.
He enjoyed traveling, wintering in Texas, camping, and fishing. Norm was surrounded by a great network of friends and neighbours, and his family appreciates and cherishes all the support they have given him during this time.

Norman leaves to mourn his passing sons David (June) Collignon of Winnipeg & Donald Collignon of San Antonio Texas and by granddaughter Jenna. He is also survived by brothers Alphonse (Vivian), Albert & Gary all of Winnipeg and by a sister Louise Ward also of Winnipeg. Norman was predeceased by his wife Yvonne (nee Pouteau) in Dec. 2016, parents Eugene & Cicecila Collignon, brother Edger Collignon and by a sister-in-law Janine Collignon.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. Winnipeg, with Msgr. Maurice Comeault as Celebrant. Following the service, a reception will take place in the reception hall at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. A private family interment will take place in the St. John Berchmans Parish Cemetery, Holland MB.

Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Norman's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Division, 1-452 Dovercourt Dr. Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4.
A special thanks to the Charleswood Care Centre and the St. Boniface hospital for the care they provided to Norm over the last couple years.
