Passed away at the Tiger Hills Health Centre, Treherne MB, on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at the age of 85 years, Elizabeth Joan "Betty" Head (nee Sturton), of Treherne MB.

Betty leaves to mourn her passing her children Doug (Pauline) Head of Treherne, Mildred (James) Mitchell of Killarney MB, Sandra Head (Ray Pepper) of Brandon, grandchildren Melanie (David) Schnerch, Michael (Dagmara) Head, Jamie (Carly) Mitchell, Robert (Ashley) Mitchell, three great grandchildren as well as extended relatives & friends. Betty was predeceased by her husband Richard Head in 2013 and by her parents Percy & Mildred Sturton.

A Family Graveside Service will be held on Monday November 20, 2017 at the Rossendale Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Ross officiating. Friends that so wish, memorial donations can be made in Betty's memory to the Treherne Friendship Centre, Treherne MB R0G 2V0 or to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave. Winnipeg MB R3E 0V9.
