Surrounded by her family in a room full of love, Margaret Elizabeth Wytinck (nee Simoens) passed away at Glenboro Hospital at the age of 81 years old on Tuesday February 20, 2018. Margaret was born May 25, 1936 on the family farm near Bruxelles, MB. and later attended Oak Hill School. Margaret, her parents, three sisters and one brother all worked on the family farm.

Eddy and Margaret were married July 12, 1960 at Bruxelles, MB. They farmed for 44 years until they retired in Cypress River on their beautiful acreage. Margaret loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved gardening, cooking and playing cards. Her husband, ten children and twenty- one grandchildren were so special to her. She loved their visits, she loved helping them, and everyone loved Grandma. Throughout her illness, she showed great strength and perseverance never wanting to be a burden to anyone.

Margaret leaves to mourn her loving husband Edward, their ten children, son Jamie (Joelle) and their children, Christian and Miguel, son Timothy (Sue) and his children Kyle, Ryley, Dylan and Shaelyn, son Robbie (Michelle) and their children Josh (Carly) and Zach, daughter Laurinda (Joe) Neyron and their children Shania and Janelle, daughter Francine (Karl) Cross, daughter Corinna (Thomas) McKee and their children Ceana and Thomas Jr., daughter Candis (Trent) Olmstead and their children Nathan, Tanner and Michaela, son Kevin (Stacy) and their children Leo and Rex, son Dan (Robyn) and their children Tess and Nash, son Matthew (Kim) and their children Lilia and Eli. Grandma was so loved and cherished by her twenty-one grandchildren.

She also leaves to mourn her sisters, Alida Verstraeten, Diane (Vic) Labossiere, Ele (Reynold) Bourdeaud’hui, brother John (Agnes) Simoens, in-laws Don (Deborah) Wytinck, Herb (Bea) Wytinck, Lillian (Maurice) Delichte and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents Leon and Catherine Simoens, mother and father- in- law Isadore and Martha Wytinck and brother in law Albert Verstraeten, nephews Tommy Labossiere, Lyle Wytinck, niece Lori Mangin and great nephew Orry Godard.

Prayers will be said in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, MB, on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 7:00 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Vincent at St. Alphonse Catholic Church at St. Alphonse, MB on Thursday March 1st, 2018. Eulogy at 2pm with Mass to follow at 2:30pm. Overflow seating will be available at St. Alphonse Hall. Interment will take place at St. Alphonse Cemetery. Following the interment, a lunch reception will be held at Mariapolis Hall in Mariapolis, MB.
