Passed away at the Lorne Memorial Hospital in Swan Lake, MB on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the age of 64 years, Barry Ernest Moore, of Baldur MB.

Barry leaves to mourn his passing his sons Devin (Tarissa) of Brandon and Jordan (Keeley) of Regina Sask, grandson Grayson Moore of Brandon, his mother Kitty Moore of Treherne, twin brother Larry of Winnipeg Beach, brothers Jim (Deb) of Balzac, AB & Les (Alison) also of Balzac, AB, sisters Gail (Craig) Cudmore of Winnipeg and Tami (Terry) Romaniuk of Winnipeg as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Barry was predeceased by his father John in 2015.

Barry was an exemplary teacher and community leader for over 44 years in the Glenboro, Glenora, Belmont and Baldur areas. Barry loved teaching and students loved him. He made learning fun while always challenging each student to reach for his/her best. The joy in learning was a special gift that Mr. Moore gave to over 1000 students during his many decades of teaching. He was greatly admired, appreciated and most especially valued, not only as a teacher but also as a volunteer and friend for numerous groups/organizations in his community.

A Celebration of Barry's life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Baldur School Gymnasium with Sandra Rex officiating. Following the service, a reception will take place in the Baldur Memorial Hall. Everyone is welcome. A family graveside service will take place at a later date in the Bethel Cemetery, Treherne, MB.

Special thanks to the Cancer Care staff in Winnipeg and Brandon for the care provided to Barry during the past 2 years. Also special thanks to the community of Baldur for all your love and support over the years.
