Passed away at the Tiger Hills Health Centre, Treherne MB, on Monday October 31, 2016 at the age of 82 years, Albert Joseph Gillis, of Cypress River MB.

Albert leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Rose (nee Simoens), five children Donna (Laurie) Guderyan of Winnipeg, Ken Gillis, Rob (Anita) Gillis & Les (Corinne) Gillis all of Cypress River and Jody (Greg) Spitula of Winnipeg; ten grandchildren Jaret, Cole, Connor, Jenna, Reece, Bree (Michael), Amy, Reid, Riley & Jordyn; brother Gary (Jeanette) Gillis of Winnipeg, sisters Juliana Tack of Bruxelles and Loretta Bertouille of Winnipeg.

He is also survived by brothers & sisters-in-law Gerry Simoens, Norbert (Annis) Simoens, Andre (Liane) Simoens, Dennis (Alice) Simoens, Daniel (Anita) Simoens & Henry Durand.
Albert was predeceased by his in-laws Rene Tack, Marcel Bertouille, Jean (Gertrude) Simoens, Johnny (Alice) Chevalier, Angie Durand, Lorraine Campbell and Angie Simoens.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday November 5, 2016 at 11:00 am in the St. Alphonse Catholic Church, St. Alphonse MB, with Father John Te Nguyen as Celebrant. Interment to follow in the St. Alphonse Parish Cemetery.
